Hello! I’m Jake, the newest Marketing Intern at HdK.
Hailing from the small, sunny island of Jersey, I moved to London roughly two years ago. Since moving, I’ve come to enjoy the art and culture London has to offer.
My love of art, design and photography drew me into creative advertising. In sixth form I began creating event posters for a local Jersey charity Brightly, a small independent charity that provides support to children and young people living in care by hosting wonderful fundraising events on Jersey’s lovely beaches. After originally beginning my career in the financial sector, I left Jersey to pursue a degree in Creative Advertising and Marketing at London South Bank University, where I’ve explored the importance of branding and utilising social media. I’ve also been studying how to configure marketing strategies in a digital age.
Having just completed my second year of university, I’ll be spending my summer assisting the team at HdK. My role will provide support on social media initiatives and ongoing marketing campaigns. Above all, I’m hoping the practical experience at HdK will allow me to develop new skills.
If you’d like to get to know me (or offer some tips as I learn) feel free to drop us a line.
